Vincennes (Alpha Chapter)

Chapter Information
Vincennes University, Vincennes, Indiana.  The first 
university in the State of Indiana, originally the 
Jefferson 
Academy founded in 1801.  Tau Phi Delta was 
established 
on February 26, 1897, a society for literary 
advancement 
and became the Alpha Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity 
and the 
first NIC fraternity on campus in 1907.  Inactive 1910-
1965.
